Seat. Both Delta and United use the exact same seat in their business class cabin, the B/E Diamond seat. The cabin includes 16 seats in a 2-2 configuration between doors 1 and 2. Each seat reclines into a full lie-flat bed (76 inches) and offers a width of 20.5 inches.
On airplanes, first class, business class, and economy class are the most common classes. The coach section of a plane is the most-economical, least-interesting part of the plane. The most desirable aspect of first class is the increased space between seats, as well as the convenience of having a wider range of foods and beverages.
United Airlines. In mid-2016 United announced a long-awaited overhaul of its international business-class service and amenities, including new seats. The cabins' name, Polaris, is chosen after the North Star. The new seats have already debuted aboard United’s Boeing 777-300ERs and will follow on its future 787-10 and A350-1000 aircraft.
Bottom line. Deciding between LOT business class and Singapore first class doesn’t seem like it should be a tough decision, yet here we are. There’s the option to cross the Atlantic in either product, and oddly the LOT option sounds more intriguing. However, I’m also questioning this choice, so I’m coming to y’all for a sanity check here.
The first-class cabin aboard Emirates' A380 is arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, with 14 first-class seats (or suites) situated on the top deck of the plane near the nose. The A380 suite is so exclusive it felt like I was flying on a private jet. Seriously, I didn't hear any other passengers during the entire flight, and the cabin was nearly full.

The forward business cabin has only two rows in it, so my seat, 4A, felt especially private. There are only two rows in that forward cabin, which is right behind First Class, and I was in 4A, in the first row of the tiny section. Business class features an alternating 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 layout on this aircraft.
If you can't get a seat on one of the planes mentioned above, your next best bet for comfort would be a Polaris first seat on United's older 3-cabin planes — United's phasing out long-haul first class soon, but the original end date of June 20 has been pushed out, to August 20 as of now.
