The first game and Riptide were great, then the developers made Dying Light and Dead Island 2 was shifted by the publishers into dev hell. The developers since have clearly been clueless. I have no doubt that if a Dead Island 2 happens it will play nothing like like the original and probably be a multiplayer focussed bag of shite.
